How gemstones can help

Does depression, anxiety, and stress hit you like a wet noodle as you are waking up in the morning? Does it continue throughout the day or grow? Some days are tough to deal with and I use gemstones to aid me in a natural way.

Stones don't take the place of medication. They are tools we can use. As someone who is upbeat or at least holding it together successfully most of the time, crystals can aid me when I feel the blues, nervous or under a tight deadline. My natural response to change is to take a deep breath and see the positive. That being said, it doesn't mean I don't feel the pressure. One or several stones often balance my emotions and allow me to power through whatever changes or stressful situations arise. Putting a stone in your pocket, using as jewelry, placing next to you on your desk, in your water or holding it in your hands will allow its vibration to calm you down.

One stone I turn to often is Scolecite. It is the stone I call 'just don't give a sh**' stone. It is not that you don't care, it just relaxes your mind and body enough to deal with whatever is bothering you. Having a weekly deadline as well as an occasional double deadline, I keep Scolecite next to me on those days. If my stomach feels queasy or anxious, I will add a Carnelian to it.
